The Northside Grizzlies (5-11, 1-2) dropped a 2-1 decision to Catholic on Monday in 7A-Central play.

Senior Evan Hiatt struck out 11 and pitched a one-hitter in the victory. Bobby Rauch doubled and scored the Grizzlies’ run on Hunter Linam’s second inning RBI.

Sophomore Khaden Washington was superb in the loss, allowing just two hits and striking out six.
